With much care and attention, the hull of the Stadtship 56 was turned. This is always a special moment for both us and the owners. It remains a beautiful sight to see the huge aluminium construction dangling in just a few slings and being carefully turned over.

🍞 Banana Bread * Melt 1/3 cup unsalted butter * Mash in 3 overripe bananas * Stir in 1/2 cup sugar * Mix in 1 large egg * Stir in 1 tsp vanilla * Stir in a pinch of 🧂 * Stir in 1/2 tsp baking soda * Add in 1 1/2 cups AP flour * Add in 1 tsp ground cinnamon * Gently stir/fold in flour just until flour is incorporated (overmixing will make the bread dense) (I use a saucepan for everything so I can melt the butter in it first and avoid more washing more bowls and things) ✨Crumble Topping * 1/3 cup flour * 1/4 cup flour sugar (half white half brown is👌🏼) * 1/2 tbsp cinnamon * 2 tbsp chopped pecans * 2 tbsp salted butter Add everything into a small bowl and use a fork to cut the butter into the flour mixture until crumbly Pour batter into loaf pan Sprinkle with streusel topping Bake at 375F for 45-50 mins until inserted toothpick comes out clean Transfer to a wire rack to cool ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
