It brings us great pleasure knowing 1000 kg of plastic waste has been removed from the Adriatic because of our incredible community of change-makers & ocean-enthusiasts. At The Yacht Week, it is very important that we are able to make a difference, even if it is a small one, by sparking positive change no matter where the wind and the waves take us. We sail to some of the world’s most beautiful locations and we aim to keep them that way. Thank you again to Sea Going Green and the other wonderful people that made this event happen, and to Sam McAllister for capturing it all. È giusto stare nel presente, non pre-occuparsi (“occuparsi prima che accada qualcosa”), nè vivere nel passato, con i ricordi a riempire le giornate. Ogni tanto fa anche bene fermarsi e fare un check. Quest’oggi andiamo a fare un’escursione e prima di partire c’è il momento “Preso tutto? La crema? Asciugamano? Libro?”, tutti step mentali che ci aiutano a essere organizzati e pronti al pomeriggio che ci aspetta. Vedo molte analogie con quanto mostrato nel video. È un giorno di check mentali e organizzativi. Presa la crema? Siamo pronti per l’escursione? Siamo pronti per il domani? C.

It felt that our sailing season was cut short. We just took delivery of “Moments in Time” back in April and now she is already laid up for the winter. A colder than normal November and December forced us to put our Seawind 1260 into hibernation. I hope next year we will wise up and simply sail south when the November winds come a calling.
