New! Excess have announced an upgrade to its popular Excess 11 sailing catamaran including an overlapping genoa instead of a self-tacking solent. More speed in lighter airs with improved trimming possibilities from the helm.  ▫️ @EXCESSCatamarans ▫️ The new version with overlapping genoa adds 16.5% more sail area compared to the previous version with a jib. Yay. We are finally setting sail from West Palm Beach to Grand Bahama Island in Northern Bahamas. We managed to get our paper to leave the US stamped at the airport, received our Covid negative test results, applied to the Bahamas Health Visa, got accepted and paid for it. We only have 5 days from the date of testing to get to the Bahamas so that's why we're leaving tonight. The wind is going to be light but hopefully we get a little more.
