Because space is limited on the boat, l use a clothing subscription service to keep some variety in my wardrobe. I sure miss my walk-in closet, but Teacher Style Box has made the transition to boat life more manageable. I know I kinda sound like a spokesperson (I'm not), but I highly recommend checking them out if you have a short attention span with clothes and don't necessarily have the space to indulge your shopping habit. After having a fast sail down the coast from San Francisco to Santa Barbara in some very windy conditions, it was wonderful to be back in a dock. We knew we were officially in Santa Barbara, and SoCal in general, when we saw someone taking a poo barefoot... the ol' SoCal Barefoot Pooper! Why put shoes on when you could... not.
