2 days to go. And we have the GREEN LIGHT. 💚 Today was the final inspection, the last details were finished, and then came provisioning. SO. MUCH. FOOD. 😂 Eight months of food had to somehow find a home inside Showgirl, and once again I had friends and family around me helping with whatever needed to be done. These last few days really have been a team effort. But the inspections are done. The food is onboard. The boxes are ticked. Showgirl is ready. I’m ready. After everything it has taken to get here, I can finally say it: We’re going to sail around the world. Dagen bjöd på sköldpaddor, en vandring genom djungeln och en utsiktsplats med vy över hela staden. Ganska svettigt på vägen upp, men utsikten gjorde det värt varenda steg. Nu väntar ett svalkande dopp och middag på favoritrestaurangen i kvällssolen. ✨ 🦎 Visste du att Jesusödlan faktiskt kan springa på vatten? Den använder sina specialanpassade fötter och hög hastighet för att hålla sig ovanför ytan när den flyr från rovdjur. Jag visste inte detta men min son Oscar 10år hade full koll på detta och lärde mig. Han älskar verkligen djur och det är fantastiskt att se hur mycket han lär sig när han har ett intresse. Han läser alla faktaböcker vi har här 👀 Får se vad han hinner lära sig efter en månad över Stilla havet 💙⛵️
