тЦ║ A not-to-be-missed event for boating enthusiasts on the U.S. East Coast, the Annapolis Boat Shows attract some 100,000 visitors every year. The event is in fact two separate boat shows held in the same spot, but a week apart. The Powerboat Show, dedicated just to powerboats (417 units on display), was held from October 3 to 6, followed by the Sailboat Show from October 10 to 14. ItтАЩs the latter of the two that weтАЩve selected for you. The event provided an opportunity to take stock of how the multihull sector is taking hold in the United States: we counted 56 two- or three-hull units compared with 96 monohulls, totaling nearly 30% of the offer. Sailed from St, Thomas to Frederiksted... Small town on the west coast protected from the prevailing eastern winds, with Danish Colonial and Victorian architecture. We visited Fort Frederik built in 1752 by Danish monarch (occupied also by Spanish and French) and enjoyed beautiful white sandy beaches. Scuba diving with turtles in turquoise waters was fantastic...
