The Anchor Hitch is a super secure knot which tightens on itself when load is applied. It is really simple to tie, all you need is two round turns. One over the top of the item you are securing your fender to and the second one on top of the first. The Anchor hitch will become really tight making it hard to undo after load has been applied, making it a great option if you want to lock your rope tight against a fixed object. Ieri alle 2:00 di notte abbiamo concluso la manovra d’ormeggio di Julia. Inutile dire cos’è successo poco dopo. 😴 Questa mattina freschi di 6 ore di sonno abbiamo iniziato la giornata lavorativa con un panorama da togliere il fiato. Affezionati alle Tobago Cays e a Barbuda, qui il podio delle top spiagge non può che aumentare a tre. Isola Saona. Ci rimettiamo in marcia dopo pranzo e percorriamo 20-25 miglia, per fermarci a Casa de Campo per fare dogana. Veleggiata serena, all’ombra dell’isola che ci protegge dalle onde oceaniche. Corriamo veloci a bordo di Julia, la barca nata a La Spezia, che normalmente galoppa sul mar Adriatico e che quest’anno è partita per diventare grande. E noi con lei.
