Oggi è il centesimo giorno da quando abbiamo iniziato a fare i reel. Siamo partiti da Lignano Sabbiadoro, in Friuli, e in 100 giorni (non consecutivi) siamo giunti qui, al “punto di partenza”. Fa ridere dirlo perché in realtà già in questo tragitto tutto è cambiato, noi siamo cambiati, la barca è cambiata. Mi domando cosa accadrà all’arrivo in Martinica. Oggi è il centesimo giorno e volevamo celebrarlo con un gran video in pompa magna. Invece abbiamo pulito la barca a fondo, fatto un pezzo di spesa, fatto la lavatrice e poco altro. Un giorno ordinario insomma. In questa vita non ordinaria ✨

Hey guys, I think knowing your knots is a very important part of boat life since you gotta use knots every single day - but I do know a surprisingly big number of sailors who are more the “if you don’t know how to knot, knot a lot” type! 🤪😂 I definitely always make sure to tie off my dinghy properly- you don’t wanna come back to where you “parked” your dinghy, just to find an empty spot - happens more often to sailors than you’d think. 🤣😜 But KNOT on my watch! The Riptide 41 is our second project from the Bieker Boats design firm. The boat is a water-ballasted, "high-performance gentleman's racer" that is being built with the latest carbon-composite materials. This time-lapse video, created by Geoff Thilo, shows the hull being rolled over after which structural work on the interior and bonding of the deck commenced.
