I will pick up my new passport this afternoon and then we'll be on the road to Washington to have a look at the boat I want to buy. It is a really cool story...I can't wait to tell it. Also a little reinforcement of what this channel will be about. Wild food, fly fishing, traditional bowhunting, foraging, and campfires in the backcountry...but home will be a sailboat! It was all plan sailing until the skipper forgot to duck. The speed at which the boom crosses the boat during a gybe makes it a dangerous weapon. This video should be a reminder to everyone to stay safe and to remember to duck when gybing a boat. Luckily no one was hurt other than the skippers pride, he dusted himself off and raced on.
