While it's important to check expiration dates because its the law, ultimately doing this quick check is critical for the safety of you and your guests. For example, pyrotechnic flares expire 42 months after date of manufacture and have an expiration date stamped on them. Fire extinguishers now must be replaced at least every 12 years. And even automatic inflatable life jacket bobbins need to replaced regularly. New episode! We make it to North Cape—without sails this time! As you know, we’re on our bike, and we’ve now officially reached 71° North. While we’re here at North Cape, we run into someone who biked all the way from Cape Town to here—Cape to Cape. Super impressive! After soaking in some absolutely stunning views, we head to Tromsø, a place we last visited after our Svalbard/Spitsbergen adventure—when we sailed all the way up to 80° North. Yeah, that was pretty epic too. We take a stroll along the dock and relive memories from sailing into Tromsø back in 2022 and longing to get back on the boat again!
