J109 Going to Red gliding by J122E Javelin during Volvo Cork Week 2024. The bright yellow kite on Javelin was hard to miss at the looked to get deep on the run. It was all smile on Going to Red with the crew giving the competitors on Javelin a wave as they glided by. The team at bottom up boats hope you enjoy these shorts bits from our 2024 racing season. After anchoring at Brick Hill near Cumberland Island, we took about a 4 mile dinghy ride to the Plum Orchard docks. Once there, we hiked across the island to the most amazing beach with literally only 2 other people (way far away). We saw lots of birds, armadillos, a baby tortoise, and of course wild horses. We ❤️ this island/National Park.
