Am 22.03.2025 haben wir ein beach clean up in Eckerförde gemacht. Organisiert wurde es von der Captain Paul Watson Foundation. Nach nicht einmal 2 h haben wir 130kg Müll am Strand gesammelt. Lohnt sich also. Schöner wäre es natürlich gewesen, wenn wir gar nichts gefunden hätten. Mir als Segler liegen das Meer, die Fauna sehr am Herzen und ich freue mich, mit Gleichgesinnten einen Beitrag beizutragen unsere "Spielwiese" ein wenig sauberer zu halten. Vielleicht sehen wir uns irgendwann, irgendwo um gemeinsam Meeresschutz zu betreiben. Ich würde mich freuen. ► A not-to-be-missed event for boating enthusiasts on the U.S. East Coast, the Annapolis Boat Shows attract some 100,000 visitors every year. The event is in fact two separate boat shows held in the same spot, but a week apart. The Powerboat Show, dedicated just to powerboats (417 units on display), was held from October 3 to 6, followed by the Sailboat Show from October 10 to 14. It’s the latter of the two that we’ve selected for you. The event provided an opportunity to take stock of how the multihull sector is taking hold in the United States: we counted 56 two- or three-hull units compared with 96 monohulls, totaling nearly 30% of the offer.
