It has been a very long time since my brothers and I all went sailing. This was the perfect day with gusty winds that forced us to put two reefs in. We sailed the Hooper Island Lighthouse run and made it back no worse for the wear. And none of us got in trouble . . . , at least not that we know of. Subscribe and share the adventure! The doldrums of July and August is not lending itself to great sailing so Toni and I picked a day and committed to some sailing on Moments in Time no matter what. Monica joined us as we try to make the best of it in light winds and overcast skies. Hey, a bad day of sailing beats a good day in the office anytime. )

When the sailing weather does not cooperate, we make up for it. We had gone out for a morning sail and returned in early afternoon due to rain and lack of wind. We stopped at Lighthouse Inn in Solomons for lunch. Monica and I enjoyed some fresh oysters on the half shell and some raw oyster shooters. Toni never had an oyster shooter so we encouraged her to try one and make a Moment in Time. See how she did.
