This is what makes a crewed yacht charter in the British Virgin Islands so special. Early morning in the BVI often means no wind… just pure, glassy water stretching in every direction. Total calm. Total silence. Yachting Expert Klara Jakobsen is visiting the British Virgin Islands. INQUIRE: https://dmayachting.com/ https://mybvicharter.com/ https://mygreekcharter.com/ https://mycroatiacharter.com https://bahamasmotoryachts.com/ https://mymallorcacharter.com/ https://mycorsicacharter.com/ https://myturkishcharter.com/ https://charterguru.com/ I woke up at 6:30 AM to catch the sunrise — and the crew was already up, handing me fresh coffee as the first light hit the water. That’s the difference with a luxury crewed charter: You wake up in paradise The sea is perfectly still The yacht gently rests on crystal-clear water And everything is taken care of for you As the sun rises and the temperature climbs, the tradewinds begin to fill in — setting up another perfect sailing day in the British Virgin Islands. Moments like this are why the BVI remains one of the best yacht charter destinations in the world. If you’re dreaming about a crewed catamaran charter in the Caribbean, feel free to reach out and let’s plan your perfect itinerary.
I capsized the Duo dinghy in a controlled test a couple of years ago. Here you see me capsizing it, righting it and then sailing away. You can see it is very stable, the tubes add a huge amount if extra stability and act as fenders when coming alongside, yet are not in the water in normal use. The Duo is a 2 sheet plywood dinghy that was built in 2 days. It can be rowed, sailed or motored. A nesting option is available. You can buy plans and see more details here http://sailingcatamarans.com/index.php/designs-2/46-beach-cats-and-dinghies/420-duo-10ft-sailrow-dinghy (this video has no audio)
