We use our dinghy anchor mostly to keep our dinghy from hitting the dock when there is a swell. What we do is tie the dinghy to the dock, shoot the dinghy anchor off the back, and then pull the anchor line tight enough so that the dinghy doesn’t hit the dock. After we came back to a popped dinghy in Mustique, we learned that it’s best to use an anchor! Leaving the dinghy a few days in this water makes you pay for it big time. I have never in my life experienced such fast growth. Thankfully we managed to clean my dinghy with a help from my friends. We turned it into a happy hour with nice music at the beach
