Sailing Red Seas published a video where their steering cable snapped and Brioni had to tie a knot to make a temporary repair while Iain steered the emergency tiller in a huge storm. It made me think if I was in that situation we might have died because my knot tying skills are terrible...so I decided to make knot tying a priority. Look how competent my bowline is now!

Hey Babe has lived in a shed sheltered form harmful elements and shows like a much newer boat, very clean inside and out. Pride of owner shows throughout, even the engine compartment is spotless. Mickey's experience was smooth sailing with the Atlantic Cruising Yachts staff on the ground at the Fountaine Pajot factory guiding him every step of the way. --- "Another aspect of differentiating ACY from other dealers… when I was in La Rochelle I met another couple that bought a Saona 47. We got to talking and turns out their dealer: 1. Didn’t have a local rep, 2. Their dealer… essentially once they took possession of the boat in La Rochelle, the dealer was gone - didn’t support them at all. They had to hire a local representative, a local French person who was their rep, was their “Baptiste” - Baptiste being the ACY rep I had - They had to hire their own. And it caused them some frustration and some anxiety just trying to maneuver through the process. So that’s another benefit to ACY."
