Flying My Dog for the First Time 🐾 | Preparing for Airplane Camping Adventures In this video, I take my dog flying in my airplane for the very first time to prepare him for airplane camping this summer. As a pilot and professional skydiver, I want to make sure my dog is completely comfortable with every part of the flying experience before we head out on longer aviation adventures together. We go step-by-step through the process of introducing him to general aviation: Sitting in the cockpit with the engine off Starting the engine and getting used to the noise Taxiing around the airport And finally, a short flight around the pattern He crushed the ground portion like a pro, but once we took off, he definitely got more nervous in the air. I kept the flight short and smooth so we could build up his confidence gradually. Well done to all who were involved in returning this beautiful classic sailing yacht to its former glory. The following series captures the extensive restoration of Brynhilde, a 1958 Fred Parker 10-metre wooden Bermudian sloop, who arrived here at Berthon on the 4th October 2019. She has been in her present family’s ownership for the past 40 years, competing in the Hill Robinson sponsored regattas in the south of France for over a decade, and most recently sailed at the 2021 Monaco Classic Week – La Belle Classe. Arriving for a deck replacement but undergoing broad further works, Brynhilde is a beautiful example of a timeless yacht refitted to an incredibly high standard. Traditional skills were used throughout this project.
