After kindly being gifted a cook book by a Trinidadian vendor at the Central Market in Port of Spain I've been practicing cooking different local dishes. It's a style of cooking that's jam packed with spices and fresh ingredients that pack a punch in terms of flavour! I know how seriously the people of Trinidad and Tobago take their cooking so wanted to make sure I could do a decent effort before I shared how it went! Fuerteventura per noi ha avuto un gusto dolce e amaro. La prima volta sono arrivata ero incinta con Valerio e Leilani ed il mio primo pensiero è stato "Ma cosa ci trova la gente di tanto bello in questo posto?!" Abusi edilizi, mantenimento delle aree urbane non proprio eccellente per non dire altro... Eppure dopo solo tre giorni fra deserto, pietraie, vulcani e spiagge infinite dove volendo puoi non incontrare nessuno per km, quest'isola mi ha letteralmente rapito il cuore. Una chiamata a Fabio che fortunatamente si fida ciecamente di me e comincio a cercare casa...ma nulla nonostanete le nostre soventi visite, la bella Fuerte non ci ha voluti... almeno per il momento. Ma non tutto capita per caso ed infatti ad oggi eccoci qui con una nuova barca e tanti progetti nella testa!
