New! Excess have announced an upgrade to its popular Excess 11 sailing catamaran including an overlapping genoa instead of a self-tacking solent. All of the 500m World Speed Sailing Records that have been set since 1988. Paul Larsen on Sail Rocket 2 still holds the record at an average of 65.45 kts over half a kilometre, but there are a couple of teams that are challenging for the honours.
