A new option is to black anodize or powder-coat the majority of the aluminum and stainless steel fittings located around the boat. The mast, boom, cross-beam, longeron and seagull striker can also be wrapped in a carbon fiber vinyl. These were both first done on Hull 10, "Umbono" (Vision in Zulu) which was launched October 20, 2022. It looks great and provides a very bold look. We have decided not to go this route, but it does look really nice, especially with a non-white hull color! Want more? Practice day at the German sail GP in Sassnitz was chilling to watch. Seeing the catastrophic failure aboard the Brazilian boat as the port hull appeared to fold up under the boat as the forward cross beam failed brought back memories of San Francisco in 2013 and that’s not something we ever want to see again

Il MOD 70 americano Argo si è capovolto a Sud di Antigua, l’equipaggio è in salvo. Argo e #MaseratiMulti70 erano impegnate in una regata di allenamento in vista della RORC #Caribbean600 intorno all’isola di Antigua, nei Caraibi, quando il vento è aumentato improvvisamente. Le condizioni continuavano a cambiare, stamattina c’erano raffiche fino a 26 nodi, poi per tutto il pomeriggio abbiamo avuto poco vento in poppa, sui 10-12 nodi. All’improvviso è arrivato un temporale con 25-27 nodi.
