We sail on the good ship Saracen, a Beneteau Oceanis 473 from 2006. Out journey started in Scotland in early 2023 and our ultimate goal is to sail around the globe …..slowly. We make these videos mostly for family and friends and to create a record of our adventures for ourselves so that we can look back at them later in life, were not in it to make money (way to hard). A shorty peek at removing an emergency boat repair patch on our steel motorsailer Alaskan Gypsy. Armed with a hammer and chisel, I take on a temporary fix made of Z-Spar Splash Zone epoxy, 3M 5200 marine adhesive, a rubber gasket, and an aluminum backing plate.
