While heading down the coast, we were taken by surprise by calls on the VHF regarding a Prohibited Zone around Cape Canaveral. Apparently, we were scheduled to hit Cape Canaveral right at the same time they closed down the zones for transit. What!? What were the zones? Where were the zones? Were we in one!? We ultimately determined, using Starlink!!!, where the zones were and that ultimately we were fine...but, this was after we turned around 180º and added another 2-hours to our trip south. Oh Well.

It brings us great pleasure knowing 1000 kg of plastic waste has been removed from the Adriatic because of our incredible community of change-makers & ocean-enthusiasts. At The Yacht Week, it is very important that we are able to make a difference, even if it is a small one, by sparking positive change no matter where the wind and the waves take us. We sail to some of the world’s most beautiful locations and we aim to keep them that way.
