Full video - We're motoring into West Lake Cove for an overnight stay on our 1983 Catalina 30 sailboat. The bilge will be flooded when we get there, but we'll have to fix it later because we're having a date night! Just the two of us! We're a sailing couple, on Lewisville Lake, Texas, and we do love to be anchored in the cove and cook on the grill. A dear friend (also sailor) Jean-Maurice was battling last stages of cancer. He's got the sailing bug. Sailed this passage before on a Class 40. I sent him this short of myself back in January 2010 when solo-sailing the North Atlantic from Las Palmas, Canary Islands to Mindelo, Cabo Verde.
