It has been a very long time since my brothers and I all went sailing. This was the perfect day with gusty winds that forced us to put two reefs in. We sailed the Hooper Island Lighthouse run and made it back no worse for the wear. And none of us got in trouble . . . , at least not that we know of. Subscribe and share the adventure! @K12-SAR @Kullmann @SSRS A 12m LOA and 45 knot, 3-4 crew, Search and Rescue vessel for SSRS. Concept design, General Arrangement, and Lines by Birger Kullmann Design Naval Architects. The first vessel with our markV hull design. Built by Swedeship/Ø-Varvet on the Swedish west coast. An all out carbonfibre sandwich construction with DIAB high density core. Propulsion twin Volvo Penta D6 and Kongsberg Kamewa waterjets. Fully enclosed wheelhouse with 2+1(+1) arrangement and Ullman seats. Launched may 2024. This is boat number 01 in the series.
