Full video: https://youtu.be/k2Pps_LRlUs This is the payoff. In Part 3, I cook homemade catfish fish balls on the boat using the fish we caught and prepped earlier in the series. Simple techniques, big flavor, and proof you can cook high-quality food while living life afloat. From the water to the galley—this is Sailing Into Nirvana. Snorkeling with the largest fish/shark in the ocean is a truly mind blowing experience. The giant polka-dotted sharks can measure up to eighteen meters and feed entirely on plankton. All over the world there are different spots where whale sharks congregate in large numbers to feed on the nutrient rich waters. Just off the coast of Cancun in Mexico is one of the largest whale shark congregations sites in the world—where you can literally see hundreds of these gentle giants slowing swimming about on the surface as they siphon up their meal. Since they are right on the surface the best way to approach the sharks is by snorkeling!
