Veleggiare all'interno della caldera di Santorini è sicuramente una esperienza emozionante. L'isola si è originata oltre 10.000 anni col crollo della volta della camera magmatica di un vulcano, ed è ora l'isola più spettacolare della Grecia. Le pareti rocciose nere a picco sul mare fanno spiccare sulla parte alta i paesini con le casette tutte bianche che si staglia contro il blu intenso del cielo terso: Fira, Oia, Imerovigli, Firostefani. Tara Pacheco and Berta Betanzos (ESP) won the Women's 470 World Championship at the 2011 ISAF Worlds and subsequently qualified their nation to the London 2012 Olympic Sailing competition. The pair will be one of the favourites to take Olympic gold and Pacheco is looking forward to the Olympics.
