A stormy afternoon at the marina turns chaotic. Strong winds push a sailboat repeatedly into the floating dock. The impacts weaken the dock structure… until CRACK — a section breaks loose. The sudden shift throws the boat off balance and it rolls completely onto its side, mast splashing into the water. Captured by a fixed marina security camera. 👉 Subscribe and share if you enjoy real sailing footage and ocean moments. #Shorts #BoatCapsize #MarinaAccident #StormFootage #SailingLife #CaughtOnCamera #BoatFail #ViralShorts
This was a trip up Southampton Water to the River Hamble. SotonMet logged it as F6 gusting F7. We were double reefed on the main with about 4/5 rolls in the jib. The wind was strong enough that we struggled to motor mainly because of the short chop. She sailed extremely well though, tacking all the way - 14 miles or so in total.
