⛵️ The Code Zero is a cross between a genoa and an asymmetrical spinnaker that is used for sailing close to the wind in light air. Code Zero was initially an attempt to circumvent a rating rule by making a large genoa for close reaching on boats that were measured with non-overlapping genoas. Did you know? 🔎

To maximise our time in the air we opted for a carefully timed run from Bankstown Airport which worked to perfection! Unfortunately our flight was somewhat curtailed after an early recall due to thunderstorm activity in the area of Bankstown Airport. What a different take on the race this year, with an east sou'easterly breeze scattering the fleet to all corners as soon as they left the harbour. More to come over the next few days.
