Much like the LMF 33 LC, the 28′ Landing Craft was built for commercial purposes. The Aluminum hull and drop down bow door, allow for easy beaching on less than desirable coastlines. This powercat, offered by New Zealand manufacturer Voodoo Yachts and unveiled at the recent Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show, features a carefully optimized hull and foils that allow it to reach speeds of up to 50 knots. In addition to this impressive speed for a 75-foot vessel, the Voodoo boasts fuel consumption well below that of an 85- to 90-foot monohull superyacht offering the same features: the usable area measures some 3,000 square feet (279 m²)...
