#6 Montafon Banked Slalom presented by DEELUXE March 19th, 2016 • Gargellen, Austria It’s banked time again!! Ladies and gentlemen, we have the pleasure to announce the up and coming 6th edition of the Montafon Banked Slalom. Like the past years, it will take place in the beautiful so called « Banked Town », Gargellen, deep in the Montafon valley, west wild part of Austria. On Saturday, March 19th, the race format will welcome 150 racers in the (in)famous « Barrel gully » which will burn legs for two fired up runs. After a day of hot berm shredding, we will gather around live bands at the bottom of the resort to celebrate the fastest racers during the prize giving. On our trip back into the bay during the Lightship race, we clocked one surf up to about 17 knots. We had a great time coming back into the bay under kite!
