Meet The Scrawled Filefish #aluterusscriptus is also known as the #broomtail #filefish or scribbled leatherjacket. They are unusual-looking fishes and are also masters of camouflage. They are able to rapidly change colors to blend into their local environment. The #Scrawledfilefish is not a common fish and is not often seen. On white sandy bottoms, they are able to turn white to match the sand and use a similar coloration when swimming in deeper blue water. Over #reefs, the color ranges from yellow to brown which makes them hard to spot, but this may possibly be a result of their excellent camouflaging abilities. ► A not-to-be-missed event for boating enthusiasts on the U.S. East Coast, the Annapolis Boat Shows attract some 100,000 visitors every year. The event is in fact two separate boat shows held in the same spot, but a week apart. The Powerboat Show, dedicated just to powerboats (417 units on display), was held from October 3 to 6, followed by the Sailboat Show from October 10 to 14. It’s the latter of the two that we’ve selected for you. The event provided an opportunity to take stock of how the multihull sector is taking hold in the United States: we counted 56 two- or three-hull units compared with 96 monohulls, totaling nearly 30% of the offer.
