My grab bag was inspected, the autopilot was sealed, the emergency water was sealed… and we keep going. Because somehow, even with only five days left, there is still SO much to do. But there’s something strangely comforting about looking around the marina right now. Everyone is doing exactly the same thing. Boats open, tools everywhere, people fixing things, carrying things, checking lists and racing against the exact same clock. We’re all about to leave alone. Lionel Lemonchois et Roland Jourdain, dont le trimaran Prince-de-Bretagne engagé dans la Transat Jacques-Vabre a chaviré, lundi 26 octobre, au large du cap Finisterre (nord-ouest de l’Espagne), ont été hélitreuillés mardi soir, une heure et demie après avoir déclenché leur balise de détresse. Selon les organisateurs de la course, les deux hommes ont été récupérés sains et saufs à 17 h 40 par un hélicoptère espagnol. Ils avaient activé leur balise de détresse à 16 h 20. Le bateau a été abandonné sur les lieux du chavirage, à quelque 140 milles (environ 260 km) du cap Finisterre (nord-ouest de l’Espagne). Sailing News TV est la première chaîne Youtube sur la voile.
