Anchor watch, boat rage and a beautiful day sail along the Cote D’Azure… With a strong mistral forecast to blow out of the Gulf of Lyon we spent a night on anchor watch outside of St Tropez before hoisting the sails and heading east to the largest marina in the Mediterranean, by tonnage; Antibes. In this video we show how to stop leech flutter in a genoa by tightening the leech line. The tightening mechanism may vary from sail to sail, but the principle is the same. Tighten the leech line until the sail stops fluttering, but not so much as to cause a hook in the leech.
