I wanted to show you exactly how a boat anchor behaves on the sea floor. I found a nice popular anchorage where the tide had gone out, exposing the same sandy bottom that the boats in the distance are anchoring in, so we can see exactly what is going on, without the sea being in the way. If you measure the distance from the bow roller to the seabed at high tide, and pay out at least five times that much chain, which is known as 5:1 scope, the anchor should untangle itself and reset in most situations. Mal eine interessante Perspektive. Einfach einen aufgeschnittenen Schlauch über die Want ziehen. Oben eine Fall befestigen und unten ein Führungsseil. Wird das Führungsseil an einem kleinen Brett befestigt, wird es stabiler.

La sveglia stamattina suona molto presto, alle 4:00 per l’esattezza. Oggi Patri, Isa ed Enri torneranno a casa, facendo un luuungo viaggio. La seconda sveglia (quella delle 7:30) suona anche lei troppo presto, ma tocca alzarci. Un bel caffè e via con la giornata lavorativa. Durante le pause abbiamo fatto qualche attività tipicamente terricola, cioè fatto la spesa, la lavatrice, riempito i serbatoi etc. Domani ripartiremo verso il nord della Guadalupa. A domani! C
