Miami brought a full range of conditions for the North-powered fleet at the @m32official Worlds, from light air patience racing to demanding downrange legs. @ryonlife Ryan McKillen's Surge and crew settled in spare. With @taylorwcanfield calling tactics, and @sloughborough, @stewartdodson, and @lukecpayne keeping the boat in sync, Surge showed the value of time on the water. As Mckillen put it, "There's a temptation to chase quick results and make changes early, but | believe in investing time in the guys and getting better together. That's been my approach, and we just showed it works." The fight behind them stayed tight. Cy Thompson kept TUUCI in the mix until the end, and @philrobertsonracing steered ChinaOne.Ningbo onto the final step of the podium. At 65 feet you saw this glorious sailing catamaran arrive and has since been preparing for handover at @theboatworks . The answer depends on how much you want done after market. In this case the team laid 120 square of Burmese teak and installed two ONAN generators. Following the boat going to water the mast was stepped and rigging and sails are installed (this is no small feat, involving 12 people). Finally it’s time for its maiden sail for the final test! Look how beautiful this yacht is off the Gold Coast! All that’s left is handover… we can’t wait for the owner to set sail on their own adventures!
