The Mumm 36 is a great boat to push hard downwind in a breeze. As soon as the wind gets above 15 to 18 knots you could easily get the boat up and planning on a broad reach or run. With the storm cloud blowing in rain and the blue sky shinning in the back ground the whole crew was on edge as the tried to soak deep at speed to make it around the bottom mark without the need for a risky gybe. With the waves almost breaking breaking as the sea way built we were easily touching 12 knots of boats speed as raced toward the bottom mark. This was another Mumm 36 memory for our days racing Go To Red on Strangford lough. Mom and Dad lets Billy the Yorki and me Jack the poodle swim off of our dingy. You see we live on a sailboat and when the weather is warm that is how we cool off. Billy is just learning to swim he is only one year old. I have been jumping and swimming for years. We sail all over and sometimes we even travel in an RV.
