I "Incidence" (angle) ๐งDรฉfinition L'angle d'incidence est l'angle auquel la voile se sent bien. Car rรฉalisรฉe par le maรฎtre voilier pour fonctionner ร cet angle. A cet angle la voile dรฉvie le vent idรฉalement sans perturbations nรฉfastes. La force aรฉrodynamique dรฉveloppรฉe y est alors optimale.๐ช Nous sommes aspirรฉs par les voiles. Il est constituรฉ par l'angle que fait la corde de la voile et le vent apparent. ๐Repรจres - Le fasseyement du guindant - Les penons (petits bouts collรฉs sur la voile) permettent aux marin(e)s de le visualiser prรฉcisรฉment sur l'eau. ๐Limites - sur un voilier, quand nous descendons le lit du vent nous disons adieu ร cet angle apprรฉciรฉ de nos voiles triangulaires. Elles fonctionnent donc beaucoup moins bien. I am still trying to diagnose the issue with a lack of water running through the engine. I took the cover off the impeller (water pump) just to eliminate that as a cause. It looks fine. So, based on on my gathered intel, I am now assuming that the problem is a blocked intake (thru-hull) under the boat. That means that I need to go for a swim at some point soon. The temperature of the water is now 44 degrees. ๐ฅถ Restoring this old sailboat is continuing my education on marine mechanics. Love it!
