A 10ft Duo dinghy built in the Edensaw Boatbulding Challenge as part of the Wooden Boat Festival. The boat was started on Friday morning and is seen here being rowed on Sunday lunchtime. We bought a canyoning harness before leaving Australia and it was still adjusted for Carolyn’s small size, so she was the one to try it first. The fourth mast step was too stiff to be opened so that’s as high as she climbed. We’ll need to carry some kind of persuader to open them, until they free up a bit. After that first climbing effort we had a second go in the fading light, with the two halyards again but also the winch this time. Much easier, for her! :-)
