The J109 Going to Red head a slight lead over J109 Joker 2 heading into the first mark of the final race of Cork Week 2024. Both skipper were doing a good job of holding their hight while keeping speed as the battle to beat each other around the first mark. This might be the most unforgettable Khao Soi we’ve ever tried… A place built by 9 relatives - each of them a chef, each adding a piece of their soul here. But what stayed with me the most… was watching her. An elderly Thai woman, carefully making the crispy noodles - one of the most important parts of Khao Soi. Every portion - slow, intentional, full of respect. You can literally feel it in the taste. I even got to talk to her… and you just know this is more than food.
