With the tank repaired and the rain ceased we went in search of some fresh drinking water. Hiking up hills and rough terrain we find a suitable spring. With the help of some of the village kids, we do multiple trips to carry the water back to the kayak. Undoubtedly overloaded with 70L of water per trip and windy wavy seas, we just make it back to the boat before the kayak is completely under. For more information, check out the publication describing this work titled, 'A Stable Isotope Sclerochronology-Based Forensic Method for Reconstructing Debris Drift Paths With Application to the MH370 Crash' by Al-Qattan et al. (2023) in AGU Advances. #science #sciencefacts #marinebiology #marinelife #ocean #discovery #waterlust #barnacles #shell #shells #education #educational #marinescience #scientist #scientific #missing #flight
