Welcome aboard our family-friendly adventure! We are a family of five sailing around the world on our "dream boat," a performance cruising catamaran named "Archer!" Twelve years ago, before kids, we sailed a Lagoon 380 named "Honeymoon" halfway around the world from the East Coast of the US to Sydney, Australia. Along the way we shared our experiences with family and by happenstance created one of the first "sailing channels" on YouTube. But more than anything, we realized what an incredible experience that first trip was and that someday we wanted to do it again, only this time with our kids. We want to share with them the importance of taking time to be with family. To show them a world outside of the one they grew up in. We want them to appreciate how lucky we are to experience the natural beauty of this world. But mostly we want to spend time with our kids during these formative years and create lasting memories as a family. That's why we are "The Sailing Family!" Diesmal liegt ein ganz besonderes Highlight auf unserer Route: Die schmalste Meerenge der Welt. Diese kann aufgrund starker Strömungen nur nachts durchfahren werden. Während der Durchfahrt im Pulk mit einigen Segelbooten staut es sich gerade an der engsten Stelle bedenklich! Seht selbst, ob wir heil durchkommen und was wir noch so erleben auf dieser Tour. This time there is a very special highlight on our route: the narrowest strait in the world. Due to strong currents, it can only be crossed at night. During the passage in a group with a few sailing boats, there is a serious traffic jam at the narrowest point! See for yourself whether we get through safely and what else we experience on this tour.
