Innanzitutto conterà sulla ormai “classica” carena a V che Cossutti ha pensato per la gamma. Ovvero, con una “V” che parte da prua, sottile lungo la linea di galleggiamento che si allarga man mano che raggiunge il ponte garantendo maggior volume prodiero. Lo spigolo è molto pronunciato verso poppa e il baglio massimo è arretrato: altra soluzione per aumentare lo spazio nelle cabine, comfort abitativo e luminosità. A presto per la prova in mare! I quote from his email " we achieved 9 / 10 kt to windward, 16 kt broad reaching under gennaker ( 14.8knots over 500 m and 14.3 over a nautical mile) The Strike 20 has a simple dory shape plywood main hull and uses beach cat outriggers and rig. so it is an easy cheap way to build your own performance trimaran.
