All of the 500m World Speed Sailing Records that have been set since 1988. Paul Larsen on Sail Rocket 2 still holds the record at an average of 65.45 kts over half a kilometre, but there are a couple of teams that are challenging for the honours. Join us on a catamaran sailing adventure as we divert our hurricane season migration to Charleston. Experience the beauty of the open sea and the thrill of sailing on a catamaran! I knew the sea state wasn't going to be great but I was talked into going anyway. Our original destination was the Chesapeake Bay but we decided to duck into Charleston after the forecasted front of thunderstorms increased in strength.
