A huge whale and going where the wind takes us for a fantastic two day sail! With the forecast winds we were going to be close hauled and knew we might be pushed off course and end up sailing straight on past to Majorca or even end up in Barcelona - but we didn’t mind. Recent hulls now have a new, integrated cross beam and longeron (bow sprit) custom made in Cape Town for the Vision 444. Not only does this remove any through-hull connections near the waterline for the support cables of which I can not remember the name, it also provides a solid walking/standing area when working with the anchor or mooring.
