The Takacat 340 Explorer is very easy to use, you can basically launch and retrieve any where with one person. The stability from the unique catamaran design is amazing and provides a very safe and stable fishing platform. Different from most inflatable boats the unique bow design with no inflatable tube is ideal for bring in the big ones (not shown in this video). With the shallowest draft of any boat of it's size as well as brilliant sea handling, you can be fishing in the shallows, close into pinnacles, rocks and reefs or out in the rough. the choice is your as this design opens up a lot of different fishing location options. Strike 18ft sailing trimaran by Woods Designs on its first sail, so it is still unfinished, but still steers itself quite happily. It has a home built main hull and uses a beach cat for rig and outriggers You can build this boat yourself in plywood. I also have a smaller Strike 16 and a more performance oriented Strike 15. As well as dozens of other multihull designs, both power and sail, that you can build. Check out my website www.sailingcatamarans.com for more
