Just wrapped up the IAFOR Aging and Gerontology Conference in Tokyo. 865 delegates from 65 countries, bringing together perspectives that are international, intercultural, and interdisciplinary. A few days of plenaries, panels, and parallel sessions— and above all, a genuine exchange of ideas. A powerful reminder of the breadth and depth of research on aging, and the importance of learning from one another. A lot has happened on the outside but also a lot of work has happened on the inside. Here is a quick tour of my new v-berth - the master bedroom. I canged it from the two single beds into one queen sized bed, build a little natural wardrobe, painted, got new flooring and installed LED lights. Very cosy!
