It's not Maine, the Pacific Northwest or British Colombia...I'm sailing a Colorado lake nestled high in the beautiful Rocky Mountains. The sailboat is our 2010 Precision 18 trailer sailer, s/v "Mandatory Fun." Winds were perfect, so I sailed "wing-on-wing" along the rugged shoreline on a dead downwind run under a full mainsail. Lars' girlfriend arranged a surprise sail & swim for his 27th birthday, and Montauk gave him perfect conditions for a perfect outing. We sailed up behind hither woods for a picnic and swim and then had a easy reach under blue skies and fair winds back to Montauk Inlet to finish the day.
