Life in a remote village rarely goes exactly as planned. Today brought two unexpected problems. One was solved by the kindness of an 80-year-old neighbor. The other simply required patience, perseverance, and getting my hands dirty. The only thing better than a ferry ride to downtime Auckland on a calm day is a sail. Just missed the pod of dolphins but if you look hard enough you can ‘just’ see them in the distance.
