There is a great abundance of marine life on the site, and the stronger the current, the more fish life there will be! Schools of Fusilier, Batfish, Snappers, Sweetlips, and even Bumphead Parrotfish can be seen here. So, our boat tester Brieuc Maisonneuve got to sail aboard the new Lagoon 38 in lively conditions, but the 380 remained alongside the dock. His initial reaction: “We set sail in 20 knots, gusting 30. I found the catamaran very stable despite the very short sea, and the helm was very smooth. On the downside, I wasn’t so sure about the choice of a self-tacking jib: the sail is difficult to trim at points further off the wind and lacks power when sailing close to the wind, which can result in a slightly disappointing heading.
