MS Balena There is a wreck of the Norwegian transport ship, which sank on April 12, 2001. The ship was built in 1952, had a length of 41 m and width of 7 m. The shipwreck lies on a rather small depth in very good condition, and its exploring from the inside is very simple and pleasant. An additional attraction of this place is very rich marine flora and fauna. While dive you can find a lot of species of colorful fish, which have found sheltering inside the wreck. This is a perfect place for every level of training, due to small depths. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- MS Balena Ein Wrack des norwegischen Transportschiffs, das am 12. Built in France with a focus on weight optimization and structural rigidity, it remains one of the most successful performance catamarans in the history of multihull sailing. The retractable daggerboards provide exceptional upwind tracking while allowing for access to shallow lagoons that are inaccessible to most yachts of this size. The deck layout features the signature Outremer helm seats with tillers for a direct and exhilarating steering sensation, alongside a protected central steering wheel for heavy weather. Below deck, the interior is refined and functional, utilizing lightweight materials to ensure the vessel remains agile without compromising the comfort required for permanent live-aboard use. Known for its high average speeds and exceptional build quality, this model is a favorite for transoceanic rallies and serious explorers. A well-specified model on the secondary market is valued at approximately 1 million US dollars. #Outremer51 #SailingCatamaran #BlueWaterCruiser #HarbourMasters
